About me

Guiding women on the natural path to health, wellbeing and connection

Nicola Lonsdale (me in Hebden Bridge, 2021)

After twenty odd years of waffles, cheap burgers and turkey twizzlers, plus a load of stress, emotion and trauma thrown in, my thirties were essentially building a foundation for chronic health.
I had my first son, Solomon at 24 weeks gestation and soon after I went to study nutrition at The College of Naturopathic Medicine. I managed a year but got sidetracked as a new mum with a child with a disability. Cue more emotional stress and upset which lasted a decade as I lost two more pregnancies, gave birth to my second son, Jonah, in a caesarian birth for which I wasn’t anaesthetised.
With severe Post Natal Illness, I struggled along with little support as my marriage broke up and I had to try support my children, keep hold of my home, work and stay sane.

Eventually, and over a long period of time, and through studying ( I retrained as a Systemic Family Practitioner)before going back to Nutritional Healing. I began to heal my body slowly.
Trauma and stress affects the body and I have first hand experience of this. Healing is not an overnight process, it can take years. And some people never begin this journey.
I have spent over twenty years, and in particular the last decade on my own path to wellness. This has not been a linear process and for some part, I’m still on the path.

I now use a Systemic approach to Health and Wellness. With my skills delivering circle work to women, to my yoga training, Family Therapy and Naturopathic Nutrition.

Every experience in my life has been a valuable tool in supporting others.
